System Requirements

Supported Operating Systems

• Windows 8,7
• Vista SP2, XP Pro SP 3
• Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012
• NOTE: PDQ does not work with Home versions of Windows

Console Machine

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4
• 2 GB RAM (4 GB recommended)

Target Machines

• 1 GB RAM (2 GB Recommended)

Configuration

• Windows Firewall: Allow inbound file and printer sharing exception
• This rule allows the IPC$ and ADMIN$ shares to be available. Administrative access to these shares is required.
• Windows Firewall: Allow ICMP exceptions - (Allow inbound echo request)
• This rule allows a target computer to respond to ping requests.
